Why do liberals get mad when you give them facts?

I’m going to parrot Andrew Weill.

I grew up in a rural town with a surprisingly solid split between Democrats and Repulicans. The best debaters I knew growing up were Republicans. My grandfather, a medium sized business owner, was a devout Catholic and a solid George HW Bush Republican. I never wanted to face him in any protracted debate. The man was bright and utterly witty. He owned his opponents with the calm certainty that when he said a matter of fact, you could reference it without concern that he made it up.

My debate teacher was a Republican. He was a teacher obsessed with “the truth”. He taught us the logical fallacies and the rules against making things personal. He explained this rule, “Daniel. Data speaks. Data speaks. Remember to base everything in data that withstands critical scrutiny.”

So to answer your question: ONE, no liberals do not. TWO, no you are not providing facts. THREE, you can’t even debate your way out of a paper bag. This isn’t about you being conservative or liberal or moderate or whatever. It’s due to the fact that you’re a troll without a purpose in life, so you’ve resorted to this activity: whining on the internet.

It’s really sad.
